The electronic map portal Czech Historical Atlas was created as a part of the project of Applied Research and Development of National and Cultural Identity (NAKI II) of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech , identification number DG16P02H010, 2016‒2020. ( http://peso.fsv.cvut.cz/naki/cha/index. html )

Maps, texts, including translations and illustrations are made available on the electronic map portal Czech Historical Atlas with the consent of the authors and other private and legal persons.

Accompanying image material (old maps, photographs, etc.) is provided with watermarks by the relevant institution, which protects them from being spread without control on the Internet.

Maps from the Map collection of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic were digitized by the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography, within the NAKI project Cartographic Resources as Cultural Heritage. Research of new methods and technologies of digitization, access and use of old maps, plans, atlases and globes, 2011-2015, DF11P01OVV021 (together with the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic).

In case of non-commercial use of maps from the web portal Czech Historical Atlas (for teaching, publishing, etc.), the user is obliged to cite the source in the format Electronic map portal Czech Historical Atlas (https://ceskyhistorickyatlas.cz), 2020. For commercial use contact the authors of the portal.
